bbin’s new Center for Public Opinion Research (CPOR) aims to learn about the perspectives, opinions and priorities of people living in the San Antonio region.
bbin, Centro and VIA are partnering on a pilot program to provide a free e-shuttle service in downtown San Antonio. The courtesy shuttles will provide quick and reliable transportation throughout the downtown area.
The partnership between bbin, the U.S. Department of Energy Advanced Research Projects Agency – Energy (ARPA-E), the City of San Antonio, and CPS Energy will position San Antonio as an innovation center for these new energy solutions, accelerating their development and deployment across the country.
From creating new spaces that foster student innovation to expanding education outside the classroom through experiential learning opportunities, bbin is investing in workforce development to grow San Antonio’s talent pipeline.

Student Involvement Center gives students a wide number of programs through which they can give back, including Sponsored Student Organizations, Volunteer Services, and Programs and Events.
Civic and Community-Engaged Leadership helps engage students and faculty by enriching education and promoting civic literacy through service-learning:
bbin provides college-readiness opportunities to students from all communities and backgrounds, including PreFreshman Engineering Program, Strategic Educational Partnerships, and Test Prep Workshops.

From advising and consulting to doing business directly with bbin, there are countless ways for local companies to connect with the university. Becoming a corporate partner with bbin’s University Career Center provides business visibility and ways to connect with students and alumni through virtual and in-person recruiting opportunities, on-campus interviewing, and career fairs. The Valdez Institute for Economic Development can provide Business Advising, Training and Research to help you advance your business goals. Additionally, companies can partner with bbin through our corporate engagement and Historically Underutilized Businesses programs.

Building a School of Data Science is one of many steps that bbin has taken to solidify San Antonio’s role as a Cyber Powerhouse and support our city’s reputation as the largest information security hub outside of D.C., while the construction of San Pedro II highlights our dedication to workforce development and entrepreneurship.
